Giving 4 Tomorrow is a proud facilitator of research within the disability sector, providing much needed funding to support those living with a disability.
The foundation aims to:
- Support research related to the disability sector
- Support organisations that have unfunded but critically required positions;
- Assist those with very limited means through an intermediary to furnish their SDA homes;
- Provide sensory or Assistive Technology and equipment that cannot be funded through other sources (e.g. the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS))
Giving 4 Tomorrow is focused on offering funding for Research and Case Studies to inform and contribute to literature and evidence-based reviews. The research outcomes can be shared widely to inform and support change in the Disability sector in Australia.
We aim to support research than can build the evidence base relating to:
- Confirming or further identifying the systemic barriers to young people with complex disabilities affording and preferring to live in sole occupancy dwellings.
- Identifying strategies that would address barriers/impacts and improve life outcomes for people with disabilities.
- Providing any recommendations on how services, funding models (including SDA scope and pricing) may need to change to facilitate better meeting individual’s requirements.
- Supporting research in the areas of Autism, Environmental fabric, design and functionality factors
